There is a type of ice that can burn, called methane hydrate.
Why it is true
Methane hydrate is a crystalline structure of water that traps methane molecules. It forms under conditions of low temperature and high pressure, such as on the sea floor. When exposed to fire, the methane is released and burns, giving the impression that the ice itself is burning.
