Owls cannot move their eyes in their sockets, having to turn their entire head to look sideways.
Why it is true
Owl eyes are tubular and fixed in their sockets, providing excellent binocular vision, but forcing them to rotate their necks up to two hundred and seventy degrees to compensate for the lack of eye movement.
