Bolivia has a navy, despite having no sea coast.
Why it is true
Bolivia lost its access to the sea to Chile in 1884, during the War of the Pacific. It still maintains a navy of about 5,000 personnel that patrol rivers and lakes. The country celebrates Sea Day every year on 23 March.
