Woolly mammoths were still alive when the Egyptian pyramids were being built.
Why it is true
While the Egyptians were erecting the great pyramids, a small isolated population of woolly mammoths survived on Wrangel Island in the Arctic Ocean. They only completely disappeared around sixteen fifty BC.
