The oldest known black hole star has been discovered.
Why it is true
Using the James Webb telescope, astronomers from MIT and other institutions identified the oldest known black hole star, formed about 660 million years after the Big Bang. The object, called MoM-BH*-1, may help explain the mysterious red dots of the early universe.
