The Hubble telescope has found the first black holes in a star cluster.
Why it is true
The globular cluster Omega Centauri, the largest in the Milky Way, should be filled with black holes left behind by exploding stars, but evidence was scarce. Hubble has now found the first of these black holes, confirming a long-standing prediction.
