Dung beetles use the Milky Way to navigate at night.
Why it is true
When rolling a ball of dung, dung beetles need to travel in a straight line so they do not return to the starting point. At night, they use the bright band of the Milky Way as a reference. Experiments have shown that when the sky is cloudy, they walk in circles. It is the only known insect capable of using the galaxy to navigate.
