Why it is true
In the late 1950s, two North American engineers imagined a modern, textured wallpaper. The material did not please as interior covering. They then tried to turn it into thermal insulation for homes, but that proposal also failed. Only when a large technology company needed to send delicate components by mail was its protective potential recognized.
